Maui, HI - On June 1st, Nā Kia'i O Maui proudly opened the Lahaina Resource & Recovery Center at 150 Hana Highway, a dedicated hub providing essential emergency supplies and services to families affected by the Lahaina wildfires.
Essential Emergency Supplies
At the Lahaina Resource & Recovery Center, we provide access to critical supplies, including:
Food
Clothing
Non-perishable items (toiletries, diapers, cleaning supplies, laundry soap, etc.)
By offering these resources, we aim to restore hope and stability to the people of Lahaina as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives.
On-Site Intake Case Management
Our center assists with the coordination of services provided by various local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring that individuals and families receive comprehensive support.
Home Furnishings
As housing becomes available, the Lahaina Resource & Recovery Center provides essential home furnishings, including:
Bedroom, living room, and kitchen furniture
Window curtains, lamps, end tables
Dishware, pots, food storage containers
Knives, utensils, rubbish cans, and baking pans
Rugs, towels, sheets, and cleaning supplies & equipment

Impact and Community Support
In the first six weeks of operation, the Lahaina Resource & Recovery Center has received over 199 applications, serving more than 450 people. The breakdown of requested services includes:
